We lease houses from property owners for an initial period of 3-5 years.
Available accommodation is transformed into modern, fully-furnished housing for disadvantaged people with support needs. We also work with developers to adapt existing properties into multiple, self-contained units within communal spaces.

What types of properties does NSH Homes rent?
– Houses

What area do we rent properties from?

– We rent anywhere in
London and within the
M25.

How does NSH work with landlords when leasing?

– Our arrangements are
the same as a normal
tenancy, NSH will be the
tenant paying the rent
directly to the landlord
monthly.

Does the property need to be adapted?

– In most cases it does not or may
require light refurbishment, we
can assist with any refurbishment
both major and minor works
with our in house building and
maintenance team.

How are repairs and maintenance managed?

– Through our maintenance
and building department.

Do I need a HMO License?

– Not always as not all
boroughs make it mandatory
to have HMO license for
supported living. Where a
HMO license is required our
in house admin and legal
team can assist with this to
get the necessary paperwork
and application submitted.

Does NSH oer a full managed service?

– Yes we do and can also
assist with any bespoke
requests where needed.

Is planning permission required?

– Planning is not always
required and will depend
on the borough and work
that is required to be
done to the property.
Where there is planning
permission required our in house legal and planning team can assist with the necessary applications.

– Assisted Homes rents three plus bedroom properties in the Enfield, Haringey or Brent boroughs

How do the arrangements work?

– Our arrangements are the same as a normal tenancy, Assisted Homes will be the tenant paying the rent to the landlord monthly.

How does the rent get paid?

– The rents get paid direct into the landlords’ bank account monthly

Does the property need to be adapted?

– Usually not but once we arrange a viewing we can discuss weather we need to adapt the property at all.

Slight adjustments may require:

• Fire safe doors
• Euro locks on bedroom doors
• Smoke alarms in each room
